In growing legal trouble for Amritpal Singh, the pro-Khalistan preacher's alleged links with the drug mafia are under the lens, according to sources quoted by news outlet NDTV.
Amritpal allegedly frequently used a Mercedes SUV which is owned by a drug gang leader. It is the same car in which Amritpal fled from police on 18 March 2023, before switching to a motorcycle.
The luxury car was gifted to the chief of Waris Punjab De by drug dealer Ravel Singh, the report said.
