'Khalistani terrorist' shot dead in Canada: Hardeep Singh Nijjar killed, say reports

An alleged pro-Khalistani terrorist was reportedly shot dead in Canada on June 18, 2023.

Hardeep Singh Nijjar, chief of the Khalistan Tiger Force outfit, was killed in the parking lot of a gurudwara in Surrey city.

Two unidentified youths shot Nijjar on the premises of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara Sahib at around 8:27 pm, police said.

He was wanted in at least 4 cases by India's National Investigation Agency. NIA had announced a reward of ₹10 lakhs for his arrest.
