Ranchi, Aug 22 (PTI) – The Jharkhand government introduced a supplementary budget of Rs 4,296.62 crore for the ongoing fiscal year 2025-26 in the assembly on Friday. Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore presented this first supplementary budget for the current financial year. The discussion on the budgetary demands is set for August 25. Initially, the supplementary budget was due to be presented on August 4, but plans were deferred due to the House being adjourned sine die in memory of former Chief Minister Shibu Soren, who passed away on that day. In March, Kishore had previously presented an annual budget of Rs 1.45 lakh crore for Jharkhand for the fiscal year 2025-26 in the state assembly.
