New Delhi, June 2 (PTI): In the eagerly awaited results of the IIT entrance JEE Advanced, announced on Monday, Rajit Gupta from the Delhi zone has emerged as the top ranker.
A senior official revealed that both Papers 1 and 2 of the JEE (Advanced), held on May 18, witnessed a participation of 1,80,422 candidates. Out of these, a total of 54,378 candidates succeeded in qualifying for the exam.
Among the successful candidates, 9,404 are female, highlighting an encouraging representation.
Rajit Gupta, hailing from the IIT Delhi zone, clinched the top spot in the Common Rank List (CRL) by securing 332 out of 360 marks.
Meanwhile, Devdutta Majhi from the IIT Kharagpur zone has been recognised as the top-ranked female candidate, achieving an impressive CRL rank of 16 with a score of 312 out of 360 marks.
