Jammu: A tragic accident unfolded in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir when a mini bus overturned on Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of a 30-year-old woman and injuring nine other passengers.
According to officials, the incident occurred near Jakhani on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway at approximately 9:15 am.
The mini bus was en route to Udhampur from Chenani when it overturned while the driver attempted to avoid a collision with a truck.
Following the accident, ten passengers sustained injuries and were transported to district hospital Udhampur. Tragically, one of the injured, identified as Santosh Devi, succumbed to her injuries. Additionally, the condition of two other injured passengers remains critical.
