Amid the ongoing flight delays, IndiGo is hitting headlines. Recently, the clip of a co-pilot of an IndiGo flight being assaulted by a passenger went viral and now another video has come to light.
In another viral video, IndiGo passengers were seen having dinner on the tarmac after a flight was delayed for hours and later diverted. Several internet users on X claimed that a Goa to Delhi Indigo flight was delayed for almost 18 hours on January 14 and later diverted to Mumbai.
The viral video shows passengers of the 6E2195 flight taking a rest and having their dinner on the tarmac sitting next to the IndiGo aircraft. As per reports, the flight was scheduled to depart from Goa or Delhi at around 9:15 am on January 14 but it took off in the evening and landed in Mumbai at 5:12 am on January 15.
Soon after this, the airlines shared a post, in which they wrote, "We are aware of the incident involving IndiGo flight 6E2195 from Goa to Delhi on January 14, 2024. The flight was diverted to Mumbai due to low visibility conditions in Delhi. We sincerely apologise to our customers and are currently looking into the incident."
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi also hit at the airlines and said that if the passengers were not charged extra for the unique dining experience.
