Indian scientists discover alien planet 13 times bigger than Jupiter: reports

A team of scientists in Ahmedabad have discovered the densest alien planet, which is believed to be 13 times bigger than Jupiter.

The discovery is made by a team of scientists headed by Professor Abhijit Chakraborty of the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) in Ahmedabad.

Notably, this is the third exoplanet identified by PRL scientists which includes scientists from India, Germany, Switzerland and the United States.

The planet is located 731 light years distant from Earth and revolves around its star every 7.24 days. With a temperature of 1396 degrees Celsius, the planet is scorching, as per a report by NDTV.
