After days of intense heat in the entire country, the weather department on Wednesday said that the heatwave has ended in entire India.

As per IMD Scientist,  RK Jenamani, from Wednesday onwards temperature will decrease and will remain under 40 degree Celsius in most parts of the country, adding that it will remain cloudy.

However, the weather office has issued Orange Alert for hailstorms, storms and rain in Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Chandigarh.

Additionally, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the hilly areas for the next 2-3 days. There are chances of storms in East India as well.
