Hyderabad, Jul 1 (PTI): The heart-wrenching wait continues for Pooja Kumari, a seven-month pregnant woman from Bihar, as she seeks any information about four of her family members who have gone missing after the catastrophic explosion at the Sigachi Industries plant in Sanga Reddy district. With tears in her eyes, she has been pleading with the authorities at the blast site, yet sadly, her pleas for details on her loved ones remain without answers. "We searched all the hospitals but couldn't find them. We are from Bihar, and my husband was on duty at 8 am that Monday," she expressed to PTI. The couple, married for three years, also has a one-and-a-half-year-old son.

Pooja's husband, Naga Paswan, along with her brother Deepak Paswan and uncles Dilip Gosani and Dablu, were all at Sigachi’s pharmaceutical unit when the explosion devastated the facility. A bystander criticized the company's responsibility, emphasizing their duty to locate her husband.

The police, however, are barring her from entering the factory to search for her relatives. "What can she do, sitting here with her child in her arms?" the bystander questioned, urging the company to provide assistance.

On that tragic Monday, as many as 36 individuals lost their lives in the horrendous explosion, with several others sustaining injuries. A revenue department official noted that only nine bodies have been identified thus far, while the remaining require DNA profiling. Many of the deceased hailed from states like Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Bihar.
