Bengaluru, Jun 10 (PTI): The Karnataka High Court has on Tuesday declined to grant any interim relief to Nikhil Sosale, who serves as the marketing head of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), in connection with the tragic stampede incident that occurred at the stadium on June 4, resulting in the loss of 11 lives. The court has further reserved its order on Sosale's petition until June 11.

Sosale was taken into custody on June 6 by the Central Crime Branch.

In his plea, Sosale has raised concerns regarding the legality of his arrest, which took place in the early hours of June 6. He contends that the police's actions were influenced by political directives.
