Alex and Tiger, the latest additions to Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau's team, are proving invaluable in the fight against drug smuggling.

According to Inspector Manoj Sangwan, HSNCB head of the Gurugram unit, the canines are trained to detect illicit substances and have already assisted in seizing drugs worth Rs 2.5 crore in the city.

Deployed in various search operations, their keen sense of smell has led to uncovering concealed consignments, including those bound for the United Kingdom and Israel.
