Haryana to provide subsidy on purchase of indigenous cows

Haryana government has announced that farmers with 2 to 5 acres of land will receive a maximum subsidy of Rs. 25,000 on the purchase of indigenous cows.

According to DC Shakti Singh, farmers benefiting from the scheme will be provided four large drums for free to prepare a solution for organic farming. He mentioned that the goal is to promote organic farming on 50,000 acres in the state, and the Agriculture Department is conducting awareness campaigns to educate farmers about organic farming.
