CM Khattar approves contracts and purchases worth ₹264 crore at HPPC, HPWPC meeting

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, leading the High-Powered Purchase Committee (HPPC) meeting, approved the procurement of textbooks and workbooks for classes I to VIII in state-run schools, with an estimated printing cost of ₹55 crores for the academic session 2024-25.

Additionally, the HPPC and High Powered Works Purchase Committee sanctioned contracts and purchases totaling ₹264 crores, saving about ₹5 crores through competitive bidding.

The meeting, attended by ministers Kanwar Pal, Mool Chand Sharma, J.P. Dalal, Banwari Lal, Kamal Gupta, and Anoop Dhanak, approved 13 agendas, encompassing various departments like School Education, Agriculture, and Urban Development.
