Former Home Minister of Haryana Anil Vij on Wednesday dismissed reports of him being upset and disappointed with the BJP after he was dropped from the new cabinet led by Nayab Saini.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Vij said, "I am a small party worker & senior leaders attend the meetings. I am a small worker. For me, it doesn’t matter who gets the ticket. We have to make sure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wins all 400 seats. To achieve the target, we have requested all our workers to show their strength and win the election….Congress should think about themselves. BJP is in power in Haryana and I can never be miffed with BJP".

Haryana is set to vote for the general elections in the sixth phase of the polls on May 25.
