Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has urged India to give serious consideration to the allegations made by Canada concerning the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Canadian national.
Trudeau called upon the Government of India, in the US while he was speaking to reporters on Sept 21 to collaborate with Canada and ensure that justice is served.
This appeal as India and Canada are embroiled in a diplomatic row over the Khalistan separatist leader's murder that took place nearly 2 months ago.
Pertinently, the appeal also follows the Canadian government's rejection of India's travel advisory, where Canada asserted its status as "one of the safest countries" globally and called for calm amidst the escalating diplomatic tensions between the two nations regarding the killing of a Khalistani terrorist on Canadian soil.
