Amaravati, Oct 22 (PTI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu extended an invitation to global industry leaders to attend the CII Partnership Summit set to take place in Visakhapatnam this November. During a roadshow in Dubai, aimed at boosting investments in Andhra Pradesh, Naidu showcased the state’s significant investment prospects across a variety of sectors and introduced 24 industry-friendly policies.

The Chief Minister emphasized Andhra Pradesh's ambition to transform into a global logistics hub, focusing on improving air, water, and road connectivity, alongside revitalizing inland waterways.

Naidu praised Dubai's tourism achievements, highlighting that it draws in close to 18 million visitors annually. He noted that Andhra Pradesh is prioritizing tourism by granting it industry status. According to an official release issued on Wednesday night, Naidu promised that necessary permissions for those eager to establish industries in Andhra Pradesh would be granted within 15 days.

Plans were unveiled for the development of seven anchor hubs, 25 thematic circuits, and three national parks to draw significant visitor numbers. Addressing potential investors, the Chief Minister revealed that Google is establishing a USD 15 billion AI data center in Visakhapatnam. Meanwhile, the state is emphasizing skill development to prepare the youth as an emerging workforce. Visakhapatnam was described as a "futuristic city," and Naidu reiterated his commitment to developing Amaravati into a world-class capital.
