Ghaziabad, Jul 16 (PTI) - In a distressing incident, a class 9 student was allegedly raped at her residence by four boys, three of whom were her schoolmates. The Ghaziabad police have initiated a thorough investigation following the lodging of an FIR by the girl’s father. The incident unfolded on Sunday morning in a housing society, when the victim was home alone. Her mother had gone to the market during the occurrence, police authorities revealed. According to an official statement, the girl had been in contact with one of the boys through Instagram. On the day of the incident, this boy arrived at the girl's house at approximately 11:30 am. Upon opening the door, the girl was met with force as the boy, in the company of three others, entered her home and assaulted her in turns.
