German Shepherds attack two-year-old boy in Delhi, case registered against dog owner

A chilling incident from Delhi's Shahdara has come to light after two German Shepherd dogs attacked a two-year-old boy outside his home. Police has registered a case against the owner of the dogs. 

The video of the incident that has also gone viral on the internet in shows the two-year-old boy's mother carrying him and walking on the road when one of the dogs comes out of his house and attacks them. The mother and the child fall down. 

In the video, the woman struggles to protect the boy but the dog pulls the boy and bites his leg. A man rushes towards them and picks up the child but the dog continues its attack. 

The owner also intervened and tried to control the animal but a second dog was seen running towards the boy and attacking him. 

Tanuj Narang, the toddler's father said that his wife and son were returning from a temple when one of their neighbours allegedly opened the gate and her pet dogs ran out and attacked his son.

Police said that the child is stable now and a case has been against the couple under IPC sections 289 and 337.
