Ranchi, July 1 (PTI): Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari is set to inaugurate a significant infrastructure development in the Jharkhand capital, Ranchi, on July 3. Another central minister announced this on Tuesday.
The 4.18-km four-lane flyover, known as the Ratu Road flyover, has been constructed at a cost of Rs 558 crore. Beginning at Naga Baba Khatal near the Raj Bhavan, it extends to the OTC Ground. An official confirmed that the construction commenced in November 2022.
Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, addressing the media, stated, "Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the flyover at a function in the OTC ground." This development comes as welcome news to the residents of Ranchi who have been eagerly anticipating the completion of the flyover to alleviate the persistent traffic congestion in the area.
