Setting new benchmarks in love, a school teacher in Rajasthan, earlier called Meera, underwent a sex reassignment surgery to become Aarav Kuntal.
Aarav, a physical education teacher at a school in Bharatpur said everything is fair in love as he married his student Kalpana Fouzdar.
On his gender change, Aarav said he knew from childhood that he wanted to be a boy and his first surgery happened in December 2019.
His wife Kalpana said he would have married Aarav even if he had not undergone the surgery.
According to media reports, the marriage has been accepted by their respective families.
