Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa’s granddaughter Dr Soundarya was found dead at her apartment in Bengaluru on Friday morning.
The police say she died by suicide and have registered a case of unnatural death.
According to a PTI report, Soundarya was found hanging from the ceiling fan. Her body has been sent for a post-mortem.
Soundarya, the daughter of BS Yediyurappa's eldest daughter Padmavathi, was married to a fellow doctor and had a 6-month old baby.
