Firing near Bangladesh High Commission in Kolkata; 2 dead

In West Bengal's Kolkata, a passer-by woman was killed when a policeman on duty discharged his weapon near the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission. The policeman then shot and killed himself.

The reason behind the policeman's actions are not clear yet.

Witnesses say the policeman fired at least 10 rounds before fatally injuring a passer-by.

According to reports, a local who runs a garage also reportedly sustained injuries and was rushed to a hospital.
