Kolkata, Jun 23: A minor fire incident occurred at the Balmer Lawrie building, situated in central Kolkata, on Monday morning, as reported by the police.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported due to the fire, which was triggered by an electrical spark at approximately 11:55 am.

The Balmer Lawrie building houses the office of the West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer, where the monitoring of the Kaliganj bypoll counting process is currently taking place.
