Fire Breaks Out at TV Serial Set in Mumbai's Film City

Mumbai, Jun 23 (PTI) A fire erupted on the set of a television serial at Film City in Mumbai on Monday morning, according to civic authorities. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties thus far. The fire brigade of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation received an alert about the blaze at 6:10 am. The fire started in a tent area of the Annapurna set located behind the Marathi Bigg Boss set at Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari in the Goregaon (East) region. The authorities immediately dispatched four fire engines and an equal number of jumbo tankers to the location. An assistant divisional fire officer, along with three station officers, was present on-site to oversee the fire-fighting efforts. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported as yet.
