Envoy stopped in Scotland| Glasgow gurudwara writes to Indian High Commissioner, issues apology

The Glasgow Gurudwara in Scotland has personally apologised to the Indian High Commissioner to UK Vikram Doraiswami, who was confronted by London-based Sikh extremists on 29th September 2023 and prevented by them from entering the temple premises.

In a letter, Glasgow gurdwara committee has assured the High Commissioner that the three persons involved in the unsavory incident were not part of their regular congregation and were unknown to the community, Hindustan Times reported.

The committee has requested the High Commissioner to visit the Gurudwara again the report said.
