Desi pistols put up for sale online with home delivery option; case filed

The police in Uttar Pradesh's Ujjain have filed a case against unknown persons after country-made pistols were put up for sale on social media with a promise of online delivery of the weapons.

According to a Times of India report, the post was uploaded by a Facebook page named Kohinoor Group.

It showed a young man posing with pistols strapped to a waist belt, while dozens of bullets were seen in the background. The post described the person as 'Pure Badmash, Mainly Criminal 302'.

A mobile number to contact and place orders was also mentioned in the post.

The police said the person's face was not clear but the cyber cell police are trying to trace the perpetrators. They added that the post was uploaded from outside Ujjain.
