Delhi Records Below Average Temperature with Rain Forecast

New Delhi, Sep 4 (PTI): The capital experienced a minimum temperature of 21.2 degrees Celsius on Thursday, which is 4.4 degrees below the seasonal average. The weather office has predicted thunderstorms along with rain.

The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 33 degrees Celsius.

At 8:30 am, humidity levels stood at 97 percent. Delhi also recorded 19 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours up to 8:30 am, according to the weather office.

Residents began their day with satisfactory air quality as the Air Quality Index (AQI) was measured at 54 by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

An AQI ranging from zero to 50 is categorized as "good," 51 to 100 as "satisfactory," 101 to 200 as "moderate," 201 to 300 as "poor," 301 to 400 as "very poor," and 401 to 500 as "severe."
