The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that the maximum temperature is likely to reach 31 degrees Celsius.
At 8:30 am, the relative humidity in the city stood at 68 percent.
Meanwhile, the air quality remained in the satisfactory category, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reading 61 at 9 am as measured by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
To note, an AQI between zero and 50 is deemed 'good', while a range of 51 to 100 is considered 'satisfactory'.
