New Delhi, Aug 20 (PTI) Delhi experienced a minimum temperature of 24.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, which is 1.9 degrees below the average for this time of the year, as reported by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The IMD noted that the relative humidity level was at 92 percent at 8:30 am.

The weather forecast for the day includes thunderstorms accompanied by rain, with the maximum temperature expected to reach around 33 degrees Celsius.

According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality at 9 am was classified as 'satisfactory,' with an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 69.

The CPCB categorizes air quality levels as follows: an AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good,' 51 to 100 'satisfactory,' 101 to 200 'moderate,' 201 to 300 'poor,' 301 to 400 'very poor,' and 401 to 500 'severe.'
