New Delhi, Aug 6 (PTI): On Wednesday, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 26.1 degrees Celsius, which was 0.8 degrees below normal, marking the lowest temperature of the season, according to the Meteorological Office.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a generally cloudy sky accompanied by light rain or drizzle. Relative humidity stood at 80 per cent at 8:30 am.
The IMD forecasts the maximum temperature to reach around 33 degrees Celsius.
In terms of air quality, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was registered in the 'satisfactory' category, with a reading of 98 recorded at 9 am.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), an AQI between zero and 50 is classified as 'good', 51 to 100 as 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 as 'moderate', 201 to 300 as 'poor', 301 to 400 as 'very poor', and 401 to 500 as 'severe'.
