Delhi Police Marks Fourth Commissionerate Day with Parade

New Delhi, Jul 1 (PTI) - On the occasion of its fourth Commissionerate Day, the Delhi Police organized a ceremonial parade at the newly established Police Lines in Kingsway Camp Ground on Tuesday. Lieutenant-Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, who attended as the chief guest, applauded the medal recipients and participants. Speaking at the event, Delhi Commissioner of Police Sanjay Arora underscored the notable achievements of the city's law enforcement. "As part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the police have successfully destroyed drugs valued at more than Rs 9,000 crore in 2024. This year, up to June, they have eradicated over 4,900 kilograms of drugs," Arora remarked.
