Delhi Police have detained Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers protesting in Delhi against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's arrest.

Footage showed security personnel dragging away protesters from Patel chowk.

AAP had announced a plan to march towards Lok Kalyan Marg, and surround the prime minister's residence. Delhi Police detained protesters saying they have not granted permission for the agitation.

Meanwhile, thousands of BJP workers have gathered in central Delhi in counter-protest, demanding Kejriwal's resignation.
