Belagavi: A man has been handed the death penalty by a POSCO Court for the brutal rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Raibagh Taluk, Belagavi district. The horrific incident occurred in October 2019, according to the prosecution. Bharatesh Raosab Mirji, a 28-year-old resident of Raibag Taluk, abducted the child while she was on her way home.
