A day after five Army personnel were killed in an explosion triggered by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri, a gunbattle between security forces and terrorists started on Saturday morning.
"An encounter is underway in Kandi forest in Rajouri. Contact has been established with terrorists," PRO Defence Jammu said in a statement.
This is part of an ongoing operation in the Kandi forest in the Rajouri sector to flush out terrorists.
