Sultanpur (UP), Sep 4: In a tragic incident, a Dalit youth was discovered dead with his throat slit on Thursday morning, according to police reports. The victim, identified as Mahesh Kumar, aged 35, was a resident of Kindipur village. Kumar had been reported missing since Wednesday evening. His body was found located behind a liquor shop in the Kindipur market, causing a wave of panic among the local residents. The authorities stated that Mahesh Kumar’s throat had been cut with a sharp-edged weapon. Circle Officer Abdus Salam informed that the body has been sent for a post-mortem, and a special team has been constituted to carry out a thorough investigation into the case.
