Dharamshala, Jul 2 (PTI): Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, has clarified that the institution of the Dalai Lama will continue, with the Gaden Phodrang Trust being the only body authorized to recognize future reincarnations. The declaration was made by the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, also known as Lhama Thondup, on May 21, 2025. His office released the statement on Wednesday, just days before his 90th birthday.
