Cyclone Michaung: 5 people dead amid heavy rainfall in Chennai

At least 5 people have died in Chennai amid torrential rainfall and flood-like situations, the Greater Chennai Police reported on December 4.  

While 2 people lost their lives due to electrocution, another died after a tree fell on him. The police also informed that a 70-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were found dead on roadside. 

Parts of Tamil Nadu have been receiving heavy rainfall due to Cyclone Michaung which is expected to hit the state in the next 24 hours.
