As many as 752 new Covid-19 cases were reported in India in a single day on December 22.
Kerala alone accounted for 565 fresh cases, while Karnataka reported 78 infections, the second highest across the country.
Two deaths were registered in Kerala, while one each in Karnataka and Rajasthan.
The number of active cases stand at 3420, which is 423 more than the previous day. Kerala has currently 2872 active cases.
