Guwahati, Aug 29 (PTI): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday paid homage to the legendary hockey icon Major Dhyan Chand, commemorating his birth anniversary. He remarked that Assam is making significant progress in establishing itself as a sports epicenter.

“On this National Sports Day 2025, we fondly remember the iconic Major Dhyan Chand,” Sarma conveyed through a post on X.
