Chennai, June 23 (PTI) – In a significant ceremony at the Secretariat, Chief Minister M K Stalin handed out appointment letters to 50 candidates who were selected through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). These appointees will take on roles as junior assistants, typists, and steno/typists within the Industries and Commerce department. The Chief Minister presented the appointment orders in person to seven individuals as a symbolic gesture during the event.

In a separate occasion on the same day, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin inaugurated several development initiatives in the Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni Assembly constituency. These projects, completed with an investment of Rs 8.13 crore, include a roadside sewage pumping station. Additionally, he set the foundation stone for upcoming projects valued at Rs 9.68 crore. A key highlight among these is the construction of a 50-bedded urban community welfare hospital building.
