CM Naidu Heads to Delhi for CII Event, Meets Key Ministers

Amaravati, Sep 30 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu embarked on a journey to New Delhi on Tuesday to participate in a curtain raiser event for the CII partnership summit.

The Chief Minister is slated to arrive in the national capital by 12.50 PM. "He (CM) took off from Gannavaram (airport) at 10.57 AM," a government source informed PTI.

The curtain raiser event is scheduled for 4.45 PM. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo will extend invitations to industrialists for the partnership summit, which is planned to take place in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.

In preparation for the summit, the state government is organizing roadshows across different countries to attract the attention of industrialists.

In addition to his participation in the event, the Chief Minister will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He will stay overnight in New Delhi.

On October 1, the CM is scheduled to return to Visakhapatnam. From there, he will proceed to Datti village in Vizianagaram district to participate in the monthly NTR Bharosa welfare pension distribution programme.
