The CBI has charged RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in a fresh corruption case over alleged irregularities in recruitment during his tenure as Bihar Chief Minister. The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday started searches at 15 locations linked to the Rashtriya Janata Dal patriarch, including his residences.

The raids come weeks after he was granted bail in a fodder scam case.
