Palghar, Sep 1 (PTI) Eight passengers sustained injuries when a private luxury bus collided with a truck on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway in Maharashtra's Palghar district, as reported by police on Monday. The incident took place near Kasa on Sunday afternoon while the bus was en route from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. Kasa police station inspector Avinash Mandale stated that the bus crashed into a truck traveling in front of it. Eight male passengers suffered minor injuries and received treatment at the Kasa sub-district hospital before being discharged. The bus driver has been booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act, police added.
