Body of Indian man found under rubble in Turkey's Malatya: MEA

A rescue team on Saturday recovered the body of 36-year-old Vijay Kumar from rubble in Turkey’s Malatya, the Indian embassy in Turkey said. 

Kumar a native of Uttarakhand went missing in the aftermath of the massive earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on February 6.

According to The Times of India, Kumar’s body was found under the rubble of Avsar Hotel, a four star hotel in Malatya, where he was staying after landing in the country on January 23, 2023 for a project work till mid February.
