BJP workers clash with Bengal police, Section 144 imposed in North 24 Parganas

The Bharatiya Janata Party workers clashed with the police in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, during a protest carried out against the attack on Enforcement Directorate officials on January 11. 
Three ED sleuths were injured and their wallets, mobile phones looted in Sandeshkhali on January 5 when they were on their way to raid the house of TMC leader Shajahan Sheikh, who was linked with a multi-crore ration distribution scam in the state. Local media reports claimed that the police have imposed a curfew in the district.
