New Delhi, Oct 17 (PTI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced its candidate for the upcoming bypoll in Rajasthan's Anta assembly seat, naming Morpal Suman to represent the party.
Voting for the assembly bypolls is scheduled across eight constituencies in the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Jharkhand, Mizoram, Punjab, Telangana, and Rajasthan, set to take place on November 11. The counting of votes for these bypolls will occur on November 14.
Previously, on October 15, the BJP had revealed its candidates for these bypolls, including Aga Syed Mohsin and Devyani Rana for the Budgam and Nagrota seats in Jammu and Kashmir.
Babulal Soren was named as the party's nominee for the bye-election in the Ghatshila seat in Jharkhand, which is a seat reserved for Scheduled Tribes. Meanwhile, Jay Dholakia is set to contest from the Nuapada seat in Odisha, whereas Lankala Deepak Reddy will represent the BJP in Telangana's Jubilee Hills constituency.
