Bihar: Four accused push police car on way to court after it runs out of petrol

In Bihar, four arrested accused were forced to push a police SUV after it ran out of petrol in the middle of the road in Bihar's Bhagalpur district. According to reports, the police were taking the accused to court when it ran out of fuel.

The four men were arrested for consuming alcohol in the dry state. The accused reportedly pushed the vehicle for more than 500 metres.

A clip of the incident went viral on X showing a police officer keeping an eye while the men were pushing the vehicle, with another officer on the steering wheel.

After the video went viral, senior police officers said they have launched an investigation into the matter. 

Assistant Commissioner of Prohibition Pramodit Narayan Singh told Indian Today that action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
