Patna, Sep 1 – In a significant breakthrough, Bihar Police, in collaboration with their Karnataka counterparts, apprehended a notorious criminal from Raichur district of Karnataka, as per an official statement released on Monday.

Manoj Sada, a wanted fugitive with a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on his head, was captured on August 29 in a joint operation led by the Special Task Force (STF) of Bihar Police and Karnataka Police.

Sada has been implicated in numerous criminal activities, including murder, kidnapping, and illegal possession of firearms across Bihar's Khagaria, Saharsa, and Darbhanga districts. Moreover, he was previously associated with Naxal groups, further complicating his criminal profile.

Post-arrest, Sada was presented before a court in Raichur and subsequently transported back to Bihar on Monday, according to the STF statement.

The authorities plan to produce him before a Khagaria court on Monday to request his remand, which is crucial for continued interrogation and further investigations.
