Before the Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s country-wide march was launched from Nyay Maidan in Manipur's Thoubal.

A bus that will ferry the Congress leaders during the yatra was unveiled by Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, who said that the yatra is “for the social and political justice of all Indian citizens.”

Speaking at the event, Rahul said that governance infrastructure has failed in Manipur, and it was shameful that PM Modi hasn't visited the state.

The Manipur to Mumbai Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will take around 66 days, covering over 6,700 kilometers across 15 states.
