A specially-abled woman in Bengaluru drives her custom-made scooter to deliver food to people. Working nearly nine hours every day, she reportedly makes nearly 700 rupees every day.

She lives in PG without her two children, who were taken away by her husband after they separated. She also reportedly suffered an organ failure while delivering one of her babies, after which she lost her ability to walk.

The woman, named Jayashree, lived with her children for no more than four years. Her medical condition worsened after the separation, according to a News18 report.

Such stories have frequently trended on social media. In July 2022, a 37-year-old specially abled delivery agent went viral after photos of him were posted online. Many users called the Chennai man the ‘best example of inspiration.’
